DISENGAGED
Disengaged is a Heavy- Death Metal band, and that plans to set out and show people how big of an influence music has to them, and what they can do with it. They love playing music, and being musicians because every member has run into problems, leaving them with only music to be on their sides. They are looking forward to taking their careers to another level and progressing on every album that they make. Disengaged is extremely committed to their music and their fans, and music is their life and they will do anything and knock out anyone in their way to achieve it. The band Disengaged was founded by Drummer Dylan Dawes and former Bassist Aaron Brancheau in mid 2008. The idea had come across in a gym class which they had together while attending Elk Ridge Middle School when they were throwing around the idea of the jamming sometime. Dylan and Aaron started the band off first going under the name Nitro Corpse. After months of searching for a name they came across Disengaged by simply looking through a dictionary. At that time had gone over every mangement idea they could such as band logos, show set ups, t-shirts and album names they had a list of lyrics for a first album but the problem was, they didn't have the band line up needed to make everything happen and come to life. Eventually in 2009 they found the miracle they needed and discovered Brandon Smith. Brandon Smith was found by Dylan in a math class that they had together. Instantly, Dylan knew right away that Brandon was the man for the job. Brandon auditioned with not very much experience but eventually came back, and ever since that point the bands chemistry was amazing, and working well together and their music styles blended great resulting in the real start of the band Disengaged.
As time moved on, Disengaged stayed busy, but had quite a haitus period due to other members working on other projects, and in late 2011, Aaron Brancheau was removed from the band line up due to reasons that were never justified, but were obvious that his feelings toward the band were not the same. Disengaged wishes the best for him and his music career, and want to thank him for his good moments and everything that he once did for the band. Disengaged will continue to move on with or without him, and things will keep going from there. After Aaron was removed, Disengaged recruited bassist, Beau "Phoenix" Midgley, being the brother of drummer Dylan "Demon" Dawes, ex-girlfriend. Beau "Phoenix" Midgley being added to the line up (for a brief time during the pre production sessions of the debut album, Hazardous) After Beau was recruited he had also introduced Chase Williams, who was also added to the lineup as the Rhythm Guitarist. Disengaged then started work on the EP album, "The Path To Hell" which was released on June 19, 2012. While trying to find the right man to lay down vocals on the tracks it was obvious that they wanted to find the most perfect vocal style and came across frontman Dez Troy. Dez was a huge addition and Disengaged went on to release another EP album titled "Mass Grave" which was released on December 20, 2014. After the release of the Mass Grave EP Disengaged went on to make some big lineup changes. Finding a permanent bass player seemed to be impossible for months, until finally coming acrossed Sean Herrera. Shortly after On March 31, 2015 Disengaged parted ways with founding Lead Guitarist, Brandon "Beastly" Smith. It was a huge turn around for the band, he had been here since the beginning and will always be a brother. To replace Brandon, Brennen Conlee of Dipped In Whiskey joined the band to record the new and revived edition of Hazardous along with playing a few shows before quickly exiting. With Dylan's former side project, Cities of Desolation going on hiatus, rhythm guitarist Tyler Gehman stepped in and took over the position of rhythm guitar, moving Chase to lead. With the lineup complete, the band strives to finish their upcoming disc and then bring their music to a city near you!
